Party Statute
The Statute of Ujyalo Nepal Party is the fundamental document that governs the Party’s organization, operation, leadership, membership, internal democracy, discipline, and decision-making processes. It clearly defines the Party’s objectives, principles, and values, as well as its organizational structure from the central to the local level, the rights and responsibilities of office bearers and members, election and nomination procedures, financial transparency, inclusion, accountability, and disciplinary provisions. Grounded in democratic practice, the rule of law, transparent leadership, and an institutional culture, the Statute provides the framework for operating the Party as an organized, accountable, and people-centred political institution.
Ujyalo Nepal Party Manifesto
Commitment to good governance, prosperity and social justice
The Ujyalo Nepal Party Manifesto presents a firm commitment to establishing good governance, prosperity, and social justice through a new political culture, capable leadership, and a results-oriented system of governance as an alternative to the political failures, corruption, and poor governance of the past. Inspired by the historic movement led by Generation Z youth, the Party is founded on the Constitution of Nepal and upholds democracy, the rule of law, civil liberties, inclusion, and the national interest as its fundamental principles. The Party is committed to making the federal system more practical and effective, reforming the electoral system and governance structures, ensuring transparent and accountable state administration, and taking strong action against corruption. The Manifesto prioritizes the development of a self-reliant economy, mobilization of domestic capital, and advancement of energy, industry, education, health, and employment. It also seeks to harness the knowledge, skills, experience, and investment of Nepalis both at home and abroad for nation-building. At its core, the Manifesto envisions the beginning of a new era through the participation of capable, honest, and committed citizens, with the ultimate goal of building a prosperous, just, well-governed, and brighter Nepal.
Election Commitment Paper, 2082
This Election Commitment Paper has been prepared by Ujyalo Nepal Party for the House of Representatives Election 2082. With good governance, prosperity, and social justice at its core, the Party sets out clear commitments to citizen-friendly public services, digital and transparent administration, accountable leadership, and zero tolerance for corruption. The document proposes a range of governance reforms, including reducing the number of members of parliament and ministries to lower the cost of governance, introducing a directly elected Chief Minister system, facilitating voting for Nepalis living abroad, and providing a no vote option. It also outlines measures to promote domestic capital and investment, increase hydropower production and electricity exports, modernize agriculture, strengthen tourism, and create employment through information technology and entrepreneurship development. In addition, the Commitment Paper presents programmes for free and quality education and healthcare, support for youth start-ups, infrastructure development, and disaster risk reduction
Circular
The circular issued following the Ujyalo Nepal Party’s Central Review Meeting held on 29 and 30 Falgun 2082 outlines key priorities including a review of the 2082 House of Representatives election, organizational strengthening, membership expansion, training, effective communication and digital outreach, people-centred activities focused on local issues, inclusive participation, financial discipline, formation of secretariats, expansion of the party organization down to the ward level, and preparation for upcoming elections. It also sets out an action plan with the goal of increasing party membership to at least 200,000 within six months.
